That's serious!

I guess that to be competitive, a class has to "cover" the main
concepts of a language. However, starting with non-C programmers and
covering C++ in 14 weeks + 2 exams, I imagine that a lot of the details
will be hazy.

For example, only a reasonably sophisticated programmer would appreciate
the point that a template is evaluated at compile time. The cute thing
about a template is that it can operate on classes that were designed
*after* the template. That works because the compiler substitutes whatever
class the current programmer wants, and we all hope for the best.
