I'd like some opinion on a car I thinking about as an investment.
1976 AMX Javelin with Edelbrock-equipped (Hi-Rise, Mallory, Holly,
etc) 360ci V8. Trans is 4-spd in-line Hurst. Odo shows 11050 miles
since build. Total car is very clean Burgandy with Black interior.
Tires are new (GY 255/65-15 I think). Asking is $4990.
Does this seem fair price to you all? Any thoughts about value
appreciation? I know that AMXes aren't really "classics", but
would this one be considered a good "collectable"? Are there any
peculiarities (pro/con) any of you can clue me in on this make /
model. I'm more of a MoPar cultist myself - a cherry '89 5th Ave
with a transplanted 360 innit is my current "baby".
