Whitehorse is dry and 50 cm snow would be a lot.  But we can expect snow to
be with us from late October to early April.

I'll have to find out from my wife who is beginning to suffer from
arthritis if a warmer climate would treat her better.  As for me, I'm still
reasonably healthy at least for the moment although my eyes are giving me
trouble.
