Do you mean very very small little white dots or lumps on them? Not of a
furry type, but little dots? Are they somewhat listless, or twitchy when
they swim? If so, it sounds like Ick to me. For Ick, there's several
medications available at your average fish store. Talk to your local dealer
to see which is best for your type of fish. My experience is that you can
save a number of your fish if it's ick, but you have to get on it right away,
as once the spots start to really appear on all of them, they go downhill
very very quickly.
If you mean a sort of furry white stuff, in patches, then it sounds more like
a bacterial infection, in which case medication is available for that as
ell.
