I guess I would say if it has an ethernet port and can be rooted then it
counts but obviously the less complex and the less it has running on it
then the less impressive it is.

I certainly wouldn't count a 100 user AIX box and a home mounted cisco 678
equally for uptime impressiveness.

Likewise I wouldn't count a BSD webserver and a Windows web server equally
because as mike said he could install a whole new version of the web
service on BSD without rebooting while Windows standard practice is to
force a reboot for a hyperterminal patch even if it's not running...
