One of the accounts I once worked was a Ford Dealer for about 6 months,
during that period, cleveland PD had at least 9 vehicles there because
of extensive body damage as 2 (known) resulted from High Speed Pursuits
where one Sworn LEO wrapped his car around a telephone pole, another
had a rear quarter torn away when he slide sideways into a truck.
So yes, most sworn police officers disobey traffic laws themselves
while attempting to capture criminals. My car wouldn't be involved
unless I was in it, plain and simple.
