God would never try to destroy you. He loves you too much for that. If
you believe in God, you must believe in satan. Maybe satan is working
overtime in your life. Lots of us blame God for all these problems. It's
just possible that we are not listening to God because we are so
engrossed in these things.

Just listen. He will show you the way. Around the 10-11 year time frame
is when I had a tremendous spiritual awakening. My problems were nothing
compared to yours, but they were driving me nuts. I could have easily
gone back out then, but I kept close contact with my fellow sobers in
AA.
A whole series of little events led up to my awakening. I knew God was
working in my life but I didn't want to believe it. These amazing
"coincidences" just kept popping up. Finally, after much prayer and
meditation, it dawned on me that God indeed was working for me...and not
against me. That was when I went from believing in God to trusting God.
For me there is a big difference.
I haven't looked back since. There are times when Ron still wants to
control things and I know exactly when that happens. Things start going
sour again. Stinking thinking. I quickly realign my thinking and just
as quickly let God resume control.
