Cool, maybe you can help me. I have a WRT54GS too, and the GS wireless NIC.

I don't have an ethernet card in my computer. I thought I would be able to
set up the router using the wireless connection, but the instructions say
to connect the router directly to an ethernet port on a computer. The
computer does not detect any wireless network, so I can't connect to the
router. Should I be able to do this, or does the initial setup have to be
done via hard-wired ethernet?
