When you add a hostname to a node, gate, email, etc.. Irex crashes. The only way I have been able to get it running is to use the actual IP as opposed to the hostname. This is okay for me since I only use Irex for email gating and ftp downlinks and the mail server and ftp server I use have static addresses. I use binkd for any binkp connections.
