-> May be forced to go for just a 2 or 4 ND unless that runs as much as the
-> kit.
-> Sure appreciate your clue, though. Have managed to adapt for the 100W/S
-> power packs but must maintain 12 feet or so distance or over expose shot.
-> Makes for a beautifully smooth spread with the 48" umbrella but too strong
-> to pull in to where the natural highlights result on nose, cheek, etc. Too
-> flat. If I can get either a 2 or perhaps better yet a 4ND, then I should be
-> able to use the 400W/S packs also for family groups.

I have the kit and it works fine, have used the ND 4 & 8 stacked trying for
a nighttime effect with shallow depth of field and slight subject motion.
Didn't get the effect I was after, but the surrounding sharpness didn't
seem harmed by the filter/s. The polarizer as you know is very useful for
shiny things like cars and water surfaces.

Haven't had a use for the UV yet, but think it would be a good choice when
doing early morning haze over wet area stuff. I don't think you guys down
south there get a lot of that, but us yankees with out cold air and warm
water see it a lot.

As to flash, I use it so seldom, a chance to use filters combined with it
hasn't presented itself yet. You have my best good luck with your attempts
though.
