 Head noises are not voices. They're jsut NOISE..

  I don't either. But after being in a noisy place I come away with
'mumble' head noises. They're not voices (aural hallucinations). See
the URL I posted. It's quite interesting. It's hard to explain. You
probably have these noises too but if you a hearing person you don't
notice them at all because external sound drowns them out.

 I was not talkng about VOICES. Voice is not the same as noise.

 Sure thing. Actually I think drugs which "cause" hallucinations only
trigger what's already there. This is demonstarted by people who have
psychotic episodes all on their own...  whatever it is that has us
discrinmate reality from imagination is dysfunctional in those
persons. Anti psychotic drugs correct that dysfunction but the person
involved still has to work at acknowledging the distinction (ignoring
that which he or she know isn't real.)
