First VPN I setup was done via cisco PIX boxes and I had to configure it
via the command line interface.

I never want to do that again, thank god the new version of PIX uses a GUI
management app that has a VPN wizard now. If you buy a device to allow a
VPN into the office, make damn sure it comes with lots of free tech
support.
