YEP! Like most teenagers, I don't think he should be driving. When he does, I
would prefer it be in a car like a full sized GM, but with an engine like a
briggs lawnmower. I would rather it have a governor, and not travel faster
than about 30. I know this little toyota will be better than that, but my
point is he will be a new driver just learning, will likely have some scrapes
and will likely do foolish things to tear up the car. I just hope he can
void
tearing up himself at the same time.
He used to tell me he wanted a Volkswagon, only he called it a "boatswagon".
If that was still true, I have my eyes on a bright yellow super beetle, I
could get going without too much trouble. Hmm, kids don't really appreciate
the old iron we try and fix for them. It seems we parents fix them up, and
then the kids get to tear them up.
Some wisdom for today is...
The softest things in the world overcome the hardest things in the world.
