Hello Bj”rn!

It's about time! (-:

Yes. I still have that 18 foot (540 cm) pine tree limb laying near where I
park my car. I haven't been able to tend to it yet because the weather
won't cooperate. It has been raining all day here today and the last two
days.
BF> Or missing a digital camera.
Yes, it is missing. I'm waiting for the prices to come down some more
before I get one.

A never-ending story.
BF> Must be a steady job there beeing a building worker
There is a lot of construction going on in my area at the moment. I
suppose it's because people would rather commute back and forth to New
Orleans and live on higher ground here. Pretty soon I'll have to go
further north to get away from the maddening crowd.

No. I'm retired. I do pretty much what I want.

It doesn't snow heavily enough to collapse the roofs over there?

That's exactly what I meant. Our lines are insulated, so I cannot
understand how the squirrels or snakes that are inclined to climb could
cause that. I'm not saying that snakes don't know how to climb, but why
would they climb a utility pole?
BF> But we don't have snakes climbing in the poles.
What do your snakes do? (-:

It's been a long time since we've seen any snow in this area. I think the
last time was about 17 years ago.
BF> And if the rain keeps coming as it has for the past 2 weeks I presumably

It has been the same here. Once the rain stops and we get two days of
sunshine, I can begin clearing up the yard, which looks like a disaster
area.
BF> If I haven't told you I live 10 km from the nearest village out in the

I have an unusual situation here. I have a Covington phone number, a
Mandeville address, and 100 yards (90 meters) away from me on the same side
of the street is the city of Abita Springs fire tower. I'm surrounded.
