The moderator sets the rules and does usually participate in the echo to
keep messages flowing.  Of course now the non confrontational echos are
dying a slow and agonizing death while the echos people fight in are going
stronger than ever. :(

Yes in fact I was the moderator of Gramps for approximately 1 year before
the echo died.  When we got the news on Gramps the messages dropped off to
nothing. :(

This echo was called COFFEE_KLATSCH before I was asked to take over the
echo to restore it to its former glory.  There for several years the echo
grew back to near its old glory but then major participators left the echo
and with all my computer problems things keep going downhill.

But here is the definition of Klatsch for anyone wondering. :)

        as for conversation or gossip. [Colloq.]

The "G" is indeed telling me it is German.
