     Talk about the light on, just the other day I purchased a sound switch
     that activates a light, just clap your hands and the light will stay
     on for as long as 1min to 30min, is is also eather very sensitive
     of hard hearing, you ajust it... anyway what I'm saying is that with
     this sound switch, if you are not there, no light, but if you enter
     into the room, the Aquarium light will go on as soon as you make the
     smallest sound...
     I think you should try it, look for is at the local hardware store .!
