with all that in mind, it may be possible to use the DOS Telix terminal...
also, since RLFOSSIL is involved, if it provides true FOSSIL services, then
most any FOSSIL needing terminal should be able to be used... i'm thinking
of the FDTERM mini-terminal from the frontdoor ftn mailer folks... iirc, it
is available for use but it is very minimalistic... i don't recall if it
even has transfer protocol capabilities...
