Tivo upgrade:  I don't own one, but a client brought his over with a sheaf
of web printouts detailing a Linux commandline procedure.  He was a Mac
type, and this needed Intel hardware and a couple of ATA channels. I
grabbed one of my live Debian disks and an ancient P3, dowloaded the
appropriate files to a floppy, and follwed the directions by rote (looooong
commandlines).  The thing just booted on the new disk.  I'm sure Google
would yield what he got.
