Doing about as well as can be expected.  Non-ending back pain is worse
again but I'm seeing another new pain specialist and this time I think SHE
is really going to work to get the pain down to a bearable level.

And as everyone knows I lost weight after the gastric bypass and got down
to 189 but my surgeon fussed and wanted me back up to 200.  Problem was my
pain specialist dropped me from Oct 2003 till Mar 2004 and then again from
August 2004 till I got the new lady doc in October.  Those months of no
pain relief meant lying in bed even more than normal and my weight started
climbing again.  It got as high as 260 but I did get it down to 249 before
I saw my surgeons replacement.  He told me in no uncertain terms to lose 59
pounds by May and be down to 190 and he'll do everything in his power to
get the excess skin removed.

I have a brand new one I bought this summer and its right beside this one
but my BBS software won't run on that computer due to the version of
Windows and other software incompatabilities.

First can I ask where you live?  I don't know but I'm guessing its in
Canada?  If so I might ask you for a favor (and no its not about drugs). :)

I live in Shelby, North Carolina.  Exactly halfway between the mountains in
Asheville and the large city of Charlotte.

Well Santa was pretty measly this year. :)  The folks at Disability
Determination say I'm not disabled anymore and they dropped my check.  I'm
still in appeals but in the meantime its hard now to get the money to even
drive to the doctors, pay the co-pays and get the meds.

But mom pulled a stunt after everyone else had gone home from our yearly
supper and slipped enough in my pocket to get some groceries we needed to
make it till my wifes next check comes on the 1st.  Mothers always seem to
know things like this even when you try and keep it from them. :)

Well trying times have always drawn me to religion also.  Now I'm just
trying to figure out where to take my wife for our 31st anniversary on
Friday the 31st.  This will be the first year I feel I wouldn't be
embarrased going inside to eat.  I wish I hadn't gained that extra weight
but if I can find somewhere to take her I hope she wants to go.  Her weight
is out of control also and her doctor won't let her have the surgery.
