Excellent and methinks it's now time to "bite the bullet" ;-)

I'd like you to do the following please .....

[1] Delete the /FIDO/FILES/* message areas but needless to say, if      
    there's any mail in any of them, you'll need to delete that first.

[2] Delete everything in your FILES directory but make any necessary    
    backups first.

[3] Enable "Automatic TIC file processing" in "Fido -> Options".

[4] Make sure that "Delete update after processing" is *disabled* in    
    all your nodelist/pointlist configs.

I await the outcome with bated breath :-))
