| subject: | Launching irex in Fedora 9 |
Hi everyone, I have a bit of a problem. I have been running Internet Rex 2.29 for quite a while now. I have run the Linux version for a couple of versions of Fedora. Lately though, something seems to have changed. In Fedora 9, I can no longer launch it from a launcher which is set to run it in a window. However, if I open a terminal, change to the directory, and then execute ./rexl, it runs just fine. The launcher properties (Gnome UI) are: Type: Application in Terminal Name: Internet Rex Command: /home/stephenh/IREX/rexl (configured using the Browse function) Comment: Fetch and retrieve Although it works manually, the launcher refuses to do so. Is there an alternate way I can set up to launch IRex that will work? Regards, Stephen Team OS/2, Team PPoint/IREX ...
