Thanks!  All the posts were most informative.  In fact, if someone
want's a real treat, and likes The Doors, and knows someone with an
older turntable with CD-4 capabilities, listen to Riders On The Storm in
CD-4!  Jim Morrison and the fellas did a completely different mix for
that Best Of album, and although tracks like People Are Strange is a bit
odd with each voice at each channel, Riders on the Storm was simply a
real treat.  Jim singing front and centre, with massed "whispering"
following, at lower level from the rear channels.  The storm effects
were well done too.  It would be interesting to know how well some of
those "Quad" mixes transfer to Dolby ProLogic and sound today.
