For me, the smaller coverage was a feature.  I've no need to go wireless
out in the street.  "a" covers my house and yard just fine, and
is not prone to microwave over interference.

All I needed was PC Card and access point support, and I had no difficulty
finding those.

Now, however, I use Netgears a/b/g access point WAG102.
