Looking at your .INI file did you edit it by hand or use the SEALCFG.EXE
program? The program sets it up but you have to cross reference the info in
the doc file and the ini file to figure some of it out. Editing by hand if
you are unsure isn't recommended.
HOWEVER, SEALCFG adds a couple of bugs itself which you can fix easily
afterwards. You may want to start with a new clean SEAL.INI Here they
are...
--------------
1. In SEAL.INI (SEALINI.DAT in distribution pack) in line
FileSpec=";FileSpec %20t %3a %3l %d
trailing quote is missing, making SEAL.INI corruption while using SEALCFG
2. In SETUP.INI in line
EchoSpec=String,":EchoSpec line","%t=tag %a=access %l=locks
":" should be replaced with ";"
3. SEALCFG
Only when adding a new person (nodelink)...
If you save it, exit out of that menu, and then return, it is
incorrect. But put the persons name back in and it seems to fix
itself.

Now to the meat of the matter.............

Below is the line from my SEAL.INI for echo feeds. I use it here and it
works flawlessly. It is all one line with no carriage return or spaces
outside of the quotation marks.
I think your problem is you left spaces instead of using commas to seperate all
the parameters. If a parameter isn't pertinent you must still hold it's place
with a comma.

I use it here for both my file and echo areas. It forwards requests for
areas, both from myself and my points, updates my SQUISH.CFG file and
announces all my file and area changes. All fully automated, with no
intervention.
I would recommend using SEALCFG.EXE the first time and then once you have
seal.ini set up you can finetune it by editing it manually.
Good luck. It was a little hard getting running the first time but once you
get it going it works very well.
