subject: Any good recomends for a linux based asdl router?

From: Adam <""4thwormcastfromthemolehill\"{at}the field.near

Dear All,

A mate at work has just fully linux-ized his adsl/wifi/ethernet router
using open-wrt or some such.

At the mo I have a dual port old adsl router which is hooked up to 3 other
pieces of kit (a wifi router, ethernet hub & old laptop doing the
iptables/routing,dns,dhcp etc).

Multo power drain for no real gain.

I am quite taken by this cheapo beastie:

"Wireless ADSL / DSL2+ 5 Port AP Modem Router WiFi 125/54Mbps 802.11g+
SPI Firewall"

Under 30 quid so....

it would replace the wifi router, ethernet hub & adsl router but......I
am less convinced wrt routing & firewall (though I await to be
surprised) as my adsl router used to run out of ram in it's routing table
when doing eMule etc).

So I am wondering wether anyone has any recomends for some kit which does
wifi, adsl, has ethernet ports etc & can run open-wrt etc.

TIA

Adam
