Help! Am I on drugs or what?
Back in 1976 my boss leased a Continental Mark V. I KNOW it was a
Five, as I drove it on company busisness many times, and I know it
was a '76 'cause I leased a '76 Granada from the same leasing company at
the same time, we both got our cars in January of '76. (I've still got the
papers for mine).
Today I was visiting a friend who's restoring a Mark IV. I know it's
a FOUR, 'cause I've seen it, it says IV on it, and has the horizontal
taillights, rather than the vertical ones my boss's had.
YET, the doorplate on this IV says it was built in April 1976
^^ ^^^^
Did production of the IV & V overlap, with BOTH being built simultaneously,
or am I in the twilight zone?
