There's a lot of them around, & they often become accepted as fact,
like the one about the exploding petrol stations that has been doing
the rounds here lately. The story goes that people in [country of choice]
have been burnt alive while filling their tank - they leave the mobile
phone on the car boot - it rings - the petrol explodes ...
