Yup, each one loads okay with a 56K modem here but there are a lot of them
and I didn't just tiptoe through the tupips, I read the text accompanying
most and the extra background on a few, too.  Perhaps 20 to 30 minutes in
all, and that's a long time for me excepting download times which might run
a few hours.  

My old computer is the one used for net.  The new tower is faster by a bunch
but even so it would have made zero difference in the time spent looking at
the hoax shots and the deliberate comic ones because it's the through put
time that limits how fast data is transferred and that is always slower on
DUN connections than even the old machine ability, and most of time went
towards reading and looking, not just getting the images on screen!  ;p
