Correct.  I played the new Marshall with a '52 reissue Tele, then a LP
Jr reissue with P90's in it.
The "Classic" or low-gain channel was pretty good.  The clean setting on
that channel was actually very good for a Marshall also.
The higher gain side just didn't do it for me.  I don't use it much, but
I can play with very high gain.  I played a ProSonic 2x10 combo today
with a Parker Fly and it sounded *killer*.
After playing with the ProSonic combo, I can say that I'd buy one of
those before I'd pop for the new Marshall...Bear in mind that I really
like Marshall amps, and I have a room *full* of them here :))
