In today's world, one would think that PC's out of the box from MAJOR
mfg's, would be secure.
Kim Komando had a story on her show this weekend, where she received one of
those new HP computers designed for kitchens (Touch screen, designed to be
a family center.
She said that on a lark, she assembled it, and put it directly on the
internet. Less than 3 minutes she was getting popup ads, etc. Brand new,
out of the box.
Why the heck was it infectable? What kind of chance to the general JPQ have?
