Here they are taking off fast as the battery tech has improved enormously. e.g. 50 mile range 15-30 mph & coz they're classed as bikes no helmet, insurance, road tax, licence etc. I was looking for a twist & go moped for my wife as she would like to go to the farm & back/town & back etc but doesn't like cars. So thought the std 49cc tist & go moped would be what she needed. I spent the whole evening looking at electric bikes & mopeds etc. V. impressive e.g. search ebay for "moped electric" & have a look. e.g.: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/New-Electric-Motorbike-Motorcycle-Moped-30MPH-1500W_W0QQi temZ320110583725QQihZ011QQcategoryZ9939QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem "New Electric Motorbike Motorcycle Moped 30MPH 1500W". I am sorely tempted. Adam --- BBBS/NT v4.01 Flag-5* Origin: Barktopia BBS Site http://HarborWebs.com:8081 (1:379/45) SEEN-BY: 633/267 @PATH: 379/45 1 633/267 |
