So first you have to find the mac of a "good box" & it has to
be turned off/ not on the network.

You are expected to move to situation where no valid mac i.e. "on the
list" then you are part of the inet.

If an insider decides to write down the mac addr of a good machine, switch
it off, use that spoofer etc then you've got a bigger problem.
