subject: TIC tossing and badfile p

Hello g00r00!

I recently (by accident) received double TICs for a file, and the first processed TIC was incorrect (it had an incorrect file size specification in it), causing the file and the first TIC to be moved to the badfile area.

However, my mutil.ini FileToss stanza looks like this:

[FileToss]

        bad_dir=/mnt/bbs/echomail/in/badfile
        unsecure_dir = true
        no_desc=No Description
        uploader=Mystic TIC
        check_crc  = true
        check_size = true
        allow_unsecure = false
        allow_replace = true
        ignore_case = true
        auto_create = true
        dir_prefix = /mnt/bbs/files/autocreated/
        dispfile     =
        template     = ansiflst
        acs_list     = s255
        acs_ftp      = s10&(OV|fy|s255)&!ff
        acs_download =
        acs_upload   = %
        acs_hatch    = %
        acs_sysop    = s255
        free_files    = 1
        show_uploader = 1
        new_scan      = 1

        21:1/100_bad_dir        = /mnt/bbs/echomail/in/badfile/fsxnet
        21:1/100_dir_prefix     = /mnt/bbs/files/fsxnet/
        21:1/100_acs_list       = s10z2

        2:201/0_bad_dir         = /mnt/bbs/echomail/in/badfile/fidonet
        2:201/0_dir_prefix      = /mnt/bbs/files/fidonet/
        2:201/0_acs_list        = s10z3

        618:500/1_bad_dir       = /mnt/bbs/echomail/in/badfile/micronet
        618:500/1_dir_prefix    = /mnt/bbs/files/micronet/
        618:500/1_acs_list      = s10z5

        618:500/24_bad_dir      = /mnt/bbs/echomail/in/badfile/micronet
        618:500/24_dir_prefix   = /mnt/bbs/files/micronet/
        618:500/24_acs_list     = s10z5

        77:1/100_bad_dir        = /mnt/bbs/echomail/in/badfile/scinet
        77:1/100_dir_prefix     = /mnt/bbs/files/scinet/
        77:1/100_acs_list       = s10z6

        77:3/1_bad_dir          = /mnt/bbs/echomail/in/badfile/scinet
        77:3/1_dir_prefix       = /mnt/bbs/files/scinet/
        77:3/1_acs_list         = s10z6

...yet the TIC and the ZIP file wasn't moved to /mnt/bbs/echomail/in/badfile/micronet, but rather to the "catch-all" /mnt/bbs/echomail/in/badfile.

! 2023-07-07 17:31:47      Bad file size; Moved to /mnt/bbs/echomail/in/badfile/

Do you know why this is so? Shouldn't the file and TIC be moved to
/mnt/bbs/echomail/in/badfile/micronet as per 618:500/1_bad_dir? The node 618:500/1 is correctly defined as an echomail node (and active).

The files are available here if you'd like to take a peek:
https://scbbs.nsupdate.info/files/file_and_tics.zip
(I have redacted the Pw line in the TICs.)

I haven't seen this for all networks -- I have badfiles for FidoNet which get correctly moved to /mnt/bbs/echomail/in/badfile/fidonet, for example.

Many thanks in advance!

Best regards
Bj”rn
