As I recall, you might have been a bit colder and you also had wind.:-(

I don't care whether one is from Ottawa, Iqaluit, Whitehorse or
Yellowknife. -40 is simply bone-chilling cold. And because we seem to get
ice fog at that temeperature, things get even worse.

I have a 2003 Honda and Honda Canada said a battery blanket was not needed.
So far they've been right although I would not have wanted to start
without the block heater having been on.

I'd have to take a look at what I have in mine although so far lubrication
(viscosity?) has not been a problem. But I certainly had square wheels on
the 25th, 26th and 27th.
In any case, we'll be up to eight hours of daylight in a day or so and the
temeperature will be -5 on Thursday so I think we've broken the back of
Winter.
