Hi Bo Sorry Bo...you are talking way over my head. I live in a tiny village of just 1000 people in Canada and until just this month, there has been no high speed internet connections available here. With dial up, I have unlimited service for just $25 per month. I can't see me connecting to high speed as I'm a well known "Power User" anyway....meaning I run several browser windows all at the same time and always have something to look at while a different window loads. In other works, I NEVER wait for the internet...it waits for me. :) For the record...I currently have 6 browser windows open, plus e-mail and Copernic (my preferred search engine). When I'm finished with this message, I can just go look at something else while I send it. Karen Multi-tasking power user in Canada -> It's long time ago i had a analouge modem. I've ADSL now, but before i've ISDN. -> -> If i couldn't get ADSL, i would really like to have ISDN. I know it's expensive -> in the US, but not in my country. -> -> Dialup is more expensive, all calls costs me 0,25 DKR per minute (after 19.30 -> the half) and 0,25 DKR in transmission tax. -> -> Bo -> -> --- GoldED+/LNX 1.1.5 --- Platinum Xpress/Win/WINServer v3.0pr5-> * Origin: Downlink BBS * telnet geekworld.dk * Roennede, Dk (2:236/100) * Origin: FONiX Info Systems * Berkshire UK * www.fonix.org (2:252/171) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 252/171 140/1 106/2000 633/267 |
