I've been reading a lot about the new drive technology, this drive should
be 4TB with that many platters. It's a beta unit, I wouldn't buy one.

The other thing they should be doing is raid5 inside the drive, 5 platters
means 4 for data and one as the checksum, increase the reliability because
as the author said, backup is a heck of an issue.
