| subject: | RE: EleBBS: Linux kicking me around |
* EleBBS Support List I've tried both the stable and beta versions of Xitami with similar results. Downloads would only send a small part of files. I'd like to use IIS but the last time I tried, it couldn't find files that were where they were supposed to be. I was running Apache fairly successfully. I'll be installing Apache again and may put eleweb on that. -----Original Message----- From: zomorf [mailto:zomorf{at}badnews.bbs.us] Sent: Tuesday, May 30, 2006 9:32 PM To: elebbs{at}thebbs.org Subject: Re: EleBBS: Linux kicking me around * EleBBS Support List Hi Bill, CW Gordon wrote: > * EleBBS Support List > > Since I'm having so much trouble installing EleBBS on Linux, I've got my > win32 version running again, without the web-access portion. > > For some reason, the install directions do not seem to work on my cranky > little Compaq machine. > > Feel free to scope out my board and let me know your impressions.
