Hi, Meg --

Just got my PRACTICAL HORSEMAN in the mail today. Kip Goldreyer's
"The Thinking Horseman" column has a scary account of how her horse
coliced (not too bad, thank goodness) -- as far as Kip can tell, it was the
bute they were giving him for his hock problem. Signs were very vague at
first, the kind where you know your horse is "off" but have nothing really
substantial to show to the vet. (I know, you didn't need anything more to
worry about, but I sort of feel compelled to mention it...)

Good luck with her, and with figuring out the thyroid problem, or whatever it
is.
