I second that idea...  I'm currently using the Feb. 13th snapshot OS/2
version (I think I downloaded it from you) but there are a few odd things
that have been fixed since then.

BTW, CEXYZ2 apparently supports long filenames, at least those without
spaces.  I accidentally uploaded a file with a long filename while I was
testing file transfers, and it worked, although the "Please describe
:" prompt gets cut off after 20 or so characters (I didn't count
them.)  I was also able to tag that file and download it again with no
issues.

I'd still like to know why the internal Zmodem seems to have such trouble
with running on Telnet and/or VModem nodes, especially on uploads.

Once I get CVS working on my new machine, I'll checkout a copy of the source
and see if I can figure anything out.

I'm not sure when the FORUM type message base was created... It may have 
been in the RC1 release that the FORUMS was added... I think the most 
stable linux release or really version you could run would be the one 
you can compile from the actual source code as it is now... the code 
from 009 is a long way behind what is out there available to the people 
willing to compile the code from cvs...

I did ask Maarten if we could have another release of EleBBS due to the 
fact a lot of filebase problems with longfilenames & case sensitivity in 
keyword and filename searching has been fixed and also downloading & 
resume support in the FTP server side aswell...
