Dear Rick,
Welcome to the echo. YOu don't need to be crazy to post here, but it
helps.
Cooking is indeed a craft, but usually folks keep it on the echos esp.
for it. Re the price of drumsticks: buying in quanity, i paid $.35 per
pound 'American'. I asked my lord what round stake costs [as he does most
of our shopping] and he said that on sale, boneless round costs $1.39.
Since you must expect 1/3 to 1/2 loss to bone, fat, and legimants on the tl,
and perhaps 5% loss on the round, i make it about $.55 per lb. edibile
portion, and $1.36 per lb. edibile portion on the round steak. So at least
here, the turkey is less than half the price. Perhaps i got you wrong, is
round steak what you meant by outside round?
It is very nice to have some men on the echo, but so far i haven't seen
[taken note of] what crafts you enjoy and what your present projects are.
Mine spread the gambit from a to Z.
Rapid river BBS is located in a tiny town called Rudolph, Wisc.. It
isn't really a bedroom community, because it does have a large cheese plant
[making not just wrapping] there. HOwever, if you are going down the
highway, don't blink twice or you will miss it. I live 7 miles away in
Wisc. Rapids. [Rapid means both fast moving and rocks in the river. In our
case it means the rocks, as the Wisc. RIver has -i think- 5 dams in this 15
mile strech.]
I keep a data base on addresses, phone #, special dates, interests, etc.
If you would be so kind, let me know what yours are.
    Shalom, the Lily Lady
