Seen a post you were still having problems controling the 8000 from keyboard. 
 The 7000 has about 4 pages in the manual on how to do it.  Hopefully or 
manual covers it also.  There should be a chart of the ASCII character and 
what keypress on the terminal unit i
t corresponds to.  Hope this helps some but cannot offer specific keypresses 
since the 7000 and 8000 probaly have different functions for the keys.
