Over the holiday weekend I had a busman's holiday, and I had to do some
repair work on my cousin's PC (ad ware trojans). He runs W98 (I think Me).
The boot time to his desktop on his PC (128MB, 200MHz CPU) was about three
times faster than my W2K system takes to get to the point where the hour
glass goes away and I can Ctrl=Alt=Del to log in.
