As most know the South had a Major weather event today Started at daybreak 
and continued all day long with Tornados all day. I have seen many natural 
and manmade disasters from NY on and finally rode one of these out. Before 
today, I have been arond Totnados but this one was different
Nashville itself was hard hit by 2 Rornados following basically same path. My 
16 year old son was working in East Nashville on Woodland Street and my wife 
went to get him at about 3:00 pm and arrived to find metal roof blown of, 
papers everywhere and nobody there. All were in a basement/loading dock and 
they wayched Tornados roll in deom an open loding dock door, taking pix. when 
oky raiosed employees knew safety was compromised the slammed door shut, 
dropped in bar and got safe.
She was whisked inside until after 2nd Tornado where she called me as O was 
taking shelter. She talked and I cut her off with IT's here now!
It ji the house next to mine at F4 but left a melmac dish on our deck 
undisturbed and myproperty ith only minor damages, very minor.
Trees blpwing and bent to 90 degreesh mino to trees strong enough to bend.
I live in Hermitage on old Hermitage grounds and it got over 100 pf yje old 
Tulip Grove Poplars on Hermitage grounds... 2 fell on Anftre Jascksons house, 
the HERMITAGE
LE responded well ass did medis, Ch 4 broasdcast live asapproached by F4 and 
was knocked off air, other stations continued, 4 came back up and broadcas 
continually the new radars tracked down to street levels and prediccted path 
was accurate. I had scanner on and listened 2 qapproach on Lebanon Road and a 
very frightened dispatcher. buldinfs collapsed, command centers set up 
promptly and Tornado arrived a my housse 1 muinute after prediction 3:39 the 
signature freight train noise was there and I have heard a couple of those
Prayers were said and basement, already occupied b a bunch of nmeighbors and 
dogs was joined to ride iot out. it was over in minutes and errily quiet 
afterwards.
Blalre, even SO, which has absolutely ZERO LE POWER  was directg traffic and 
aid.
It is now frsaturday anda required trip out was one of the saddest  and most 
destructibe I hacve seen. Prople DID assist each other and my power now back 
on much other power will be 10-14 days. Pjpnes are up.
