well I am having a hard drive problem right now but I am trying to
keep up a little reading on line when I can.
the 1.2 g hard drive crashed and although we have a loaner hard drive to keep
some stuff running I cant get my mail reader to work.
well anyway the the Kluts club sounds good I got another story.
When I was around 12 mom and I went grocery shopping and my brother was
suposed to sweep the pine needles off the stairs and side walk. Well
being an 11 yr old and wanting to watch tv instead he went out and
hosed AT the stairs not actually getting the needles off just wet. We
got home and in the first load to the door I had two six packs of the
large bottles of soda (the old glass quart bottles). Well about three
steps up I had one foot slip out on the wet needles and fell face into
the steps. I did manage to keep the breakage down to only one of the twelve
bottles. But that one bottle left a nasty little cut right on a
knuckle of my right hand which if you look close you can still see the
scare. Mom called my regular doctor and the office staff refused to see
me because it was too close to closing time so mom put me in the car with
a wet wash cloth over the bleeding and drove like a crasy woman to a clinic
my dad went to. The door was locked but when mom knocked, one of the office
help came to tell her they were closed. Mom held up my hand and the gal
unlocked the door for us. I ended up with four stitches thanks to my little
brother. 8-) Of course there was the time little brother ended up with 28
stitches just below his right elboe...
