It seems to me Symantec should be more worried about what they are doing to
their AV software than what MS might do..
It's sort of like back in the OS/2 days when we would point out that only
MS could bring MS down, I mean it took MS to turn me off to the new
versions of NT, nobody else could have done that. Well it's the same way
with AV software, people find something they like and until the vendor
either stuffs them with greedy new pricing or totally hoses up the software
like Symantec and MS are doing, then that's the only real thing that could
get people to switch.
Everyone prefers to stay with the software they know as long as it's good enough..
