Sorry to ask a pond orientated question in this echo.  Anyway can somebody
help me get rid of my blanket weed... i have a problem at present with 
this annoying weed and can not seem to get rid of it, as fast as i pull it
out it just comes back.
 Does anybody have any good ideas on how to get rid of it... Ive got a barley
 straw pouch which stops green water but not the blanket weed. Iv'e tried 
 about 3 different chemical preparations all of which did not seem to have
 any effect (apart from strip the leaves off the oxygen plant !).
  Would a UV filter get rid of blanket weed ??
   any help appreciated.
