Ten years ago today I didn't know whether I was going to live or die.  But 
PRoudly I can say today that I not only am living but without having used any 
of the same substances that had taken everything from me.  It's been a long 
haul for me with a lot of hardship, pain, and recovery from it.  But I made 
it.  March 22, 1987 I double od'd I took 22 cc's of Heroin introveneously, 
nd
had drank enough alcohol that my B.A.C. was 3.75 ppm.  This led me into a 
hospital on my death bed. I was 20 minutes dead and three days comatose.

I came out of the coma I had immediately found My HP.  I wsas never supposed 
to have survived, instead I not only did but maintained full faculties, and 
was not a vegetable.  HP granted me a miracle and gave me a second chance.  
And I know that each and everyone of us are also miracles.  SO WIth HP's 
race
I will continue to share a positive message and stay sober 1 day at a time.
