This is what I was speaking of ... folks that drive a BMW or 
Porche or 'Vette, and have a new computer for each of their kids, 
and wear only designer clothes, etc. then claim they just can't 
afford to support their local BBSs.  Yet these same ones are 
generally the ones who tie up the system playing games and leach 
all the files they can without ever uploading any (or if they do 
upload, it's the same ones they d/l with the name changed).  I 
am on a fixed income and raising a son alone.  But I usually 
manage to support my favorite boards - if not with cash, then 
with some needed supplies.  And I also am supportive of them ... 
helping solve problems, advertising them, etc.  Sadly enough, 
most people have no idea (or care) what goes into running a board 
and couldn't be bothered to help out when the sysop needs 
something tested or whatever.  They just sit and complain when 
things don't work right!
