Hi Mike,
At Feb 19 you wrote about "LOCal bit" a.o.:

The only thing the local bit says, is that the message is created locally,
e.g. on *your* system. When I look at your address, you have a point
system, so all mail entered had the local bit. On a BBS though, mail from
points tossed into an echo is not entered locally and will not have the
local bit set.
