BTW.....if you use the linksys ones (WRT54G and WRT54GS) & get the sveasoft linux firmware: http://www.sveasoft.com/ You can massively up the transmitted signal strength. http://www.sveasoft.com/content/view/3/1/ Also it includes a PPTP VPN server as part of alchemy (along with lots of other nice things). The linksys boxes are cheap as is alchemy (I don't know if you'd need 1 subscription per linksys box but I suspect not): "Sveasoft firmware and support is available for a yearly $20 USD subscription fee. A subscription includes unlimited access to firmware upgrades and unlimited access to priority support."
